How did it start?
Lightworks, an extension of Lighthouse, empowers individuals through the TVET Program, providing practical skill-building opportunities for those in need. Engaging with Lightworks directly supports underprivileged individuals in regaining stability and self-sufficiency.
Participants in the program not only showcase their abilities but also earn a living wage, fostering confidence and independence while developing essential skills for future employment. The allowance provided to workers acknowledges their contributions, facilitating their transition to self-reliance.
Focused on empowerment and inclusivity, Lightworks fosters resilience and compassion within the community by offering meaningful employment and skill development opportunities. Together, patrons and participants create a network of support, contributing to a more equitable and hopeful future.
The services offered are:
Grave Maintenance Program
A service dedicated to maintaining the graves of loved ones, ensuring they are kept clean, tidy, and respectfully cared for.
House/Office/Church Cleaning:
Cleaning services for homes, offices, and churches, ensuring spaces are kept immaculate and inviting.
Gardening/Lawn Mowing:
Expert gardening and lawn care services to maintain outdoor spaces, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, and garden upkeep.
Recycling
A program focused on environmental sustainability, promoting the responsible disposal and recycling of waste materials to reduce environmental impact.
